In order to enhance their online presence, Amedia Creative proposed to design Alex & Ani an e-commerce solution in an effort to increase sales. The store will contain a multitude of features such as multi-tier pricing, shipping integration, and even product cross-promotion. This increase in customer reception will interest a multitude of consumers, and incorporate a number of users to join the site. Featured on the site will be a “Create Your Own” section where users can custom design their own pieces to buy. This extension will be built as a separate module that will utilize the database and content management offered by the e-commerce platform implemented: Magento. The influx of customers interested in e-commerce exchange has increased exponentially in the past few year.
